I hate when a book gets released it's always in hard cover first and then you have to wait a year to get it in soft cover and HOPE that they make it the same size and such as your other copies of the series. I have the first three of the Mortal Instruments but not book four or book five and I have to wait for those to get released in soft cover. I refuse to have mixed series. That is why I am very lucky that I have a good friend who buys all the hard covers and then lends them to me.
From what I remember of this series, I was tired and disappointed in it. But I still wanted more. Book five is not the final book! But it was sure good. I read it in one day. Took me about 10 hours or so. And in the end I am not really sure what to say about it.
I still love Simon, he is my favourite character. Then Magnus, now he is an awesome character. I wish there was a whole series dedicated to him. Clary is still kinda irritating but less so than before and I think that's because she actually fights for herself and doesn't have to be rescued all the damn time. She stops letting people protect her and starts protecting herself. Sebastian, is most interesting, I really like him even though you knew when the big battle happened you would end up hating him. I feel sorry for him and his twisted version of life.
"You play D and D. You're a geek," she corrected him fondly.Happy Reading :)
"Geek is chic," Simon declared. "ladies love nerds."
Oh and side note: I hate the cover, hate it.
